What's new in Capture One Pro 21

- [Narrator] Lots of great new stuff in this release of Capture pro One 21, I'm going to show you the 21 release and then the 0.1 release which is what we're also covering in this training, so we get all sorts of goodies. Let's start with 21 itself, 14.0.0 speed edit was introduced in that release and we are covering speed edit in this training, a new slider, the dehaze slider, we will also cover that. I don't talk about it but I'm going to tell you about it right now. You have HEIF support high efficiency file support. And those of you that shoot with iPhones in particular and you like HEIF instead of JPEG. Well, guess what those files are supported now in Capture One pro 21, a new camera profiles and tethering for like a cameras. They also made some nice little improvements including speed improvements especially in the import dialogue. So lots of fun things to play with here. Let's go to 0.1, which is right here because there were some biggies released here now in all the releases in between they have new camera support and things like that. But in terms of features on the 0.1 release, we got style brushes which we cover here, the new import viewer. I love this, I love this. And we cover that as well, more profiles and Leica Live-View with zoom and pans. So they continue to work on that relationship with Leica. They made some little improvements here, Keystone tool, Viewer max zoom increased. Take a look at that, but it goes so big or so in depth that all you really look at are texels right squares but you know, there could be an application for that, right? There could be a use for that. So that is in the 0.1. Now there have been some minor releases in between 0.1 and 0.2, mainly bug fixes and a few additional RAW profiles added the two biggies was the initial 21 release and then the 0.1 release. Now you may be wondering why is it called 14.1 when it's Capture One 21? Well, that's because they decided to get modern with the name at Capture One pro 20 in the year 2020. They thought that, that had a nice modern ring to it but in terms of the actual application that was version 13 then, and then in 21, 2021 this is actually version 14. So don't think about it. Once you get your head around it, the actual release is 14 but the name of it is Capture One pro 21. You can see, we have lots of good stuff to cover in this training and we're going to have lots of fun doing it.
