Baking normals in Blender

- In this video, we're going to be taking a look at an alternative way to bake normal maps, if you would like to do so, depending on what kind of system you have. You may not be able to use xNormal, and there are other ways to bake normal maps. I think xNormal is probably the most direct route to bake your normal maps, but Blender will bake normal maps as well. So, well, we'll just took a look and see how Blender does it. In this scene that I've set up for you, I've mocked up a high poly and a low poly object. Now right now we're looking at the low poly, you can see it says Cube_LP up here, and over here under Cube_HP, that is my high poly and all that detail right there is model detail. So, first thing, make sure that you create a high poly and a low poly, or use the scene that I'm giving you to practice with, and know which ones the high poly and low poly because we're going to be working mostly on the low poly.
