Blocking out the hands and duplicate fingers
- Hands bring some issues to the modeling process, because the fingers are so close together we'll need to ensure that our mesh doesn't get so tangled or overlapped. We got to keep track of those edge loops. The hands also need additional edge loops to hold all that extra detail, like fingernails, and wrinkles, and the things that make up our hand. So we're going to go ahead and build the hand as a separate mesh, and we do that by going into object mode and we're going to add a mesh cube. Now remember, our critter here, he has all of his shaders and geometry tools still attached to him that we were using in the earlier videos, like, x-ray, and see through mode, and some of those things. I'm going to leave that because we are going to come back to the body of the creature here pretty soon, but I'm just going to move this cube into place somewhere around where his hand would be.
