Blocking out the leg
- We're ready to start modeling. We'll start with the creature's leg, I've found that legs are a good place to start learning how to control some of the basic edit mode tools such as the vertices, polygons, and edge transforms. So let's go ahead an get started. We're going to give ourself some clues as to which direction we're looking at in our scene. We're eventually going to be switching between the front and the back quite a bit, because we have to model the front and back of our creature. So to do that, we're going to give ourselves some sign pose as to which direction we're looking at, because it's not always easy to tell, they look pretty similar. So we're going to go ahead and add a text object, and we'll click text. And you'll see it's properly labeled text there. I'm going to rotate that into position. These are not going to be anything that will be in our final model, so we don't have to really make sure that they rotated exactly on those axes. And I want this to say front…
