- At this point we've added all of those UV elements to our UV map. In my case I've gone in and added the eyes and the bracers as those extra accessories to the UV elements. Our model is now ready to export out for the normal maps, but we need to do a little bit of housekeeping first to make sure that everything is going to work well when we start baking out those normal maps. The normal maps are really picky when it comes to centering your objects, making sure the high and low objects line up, and making sure that the UVs don't overlap. I'm going to go ahead and close my UV window just by dragging it over. And you can see right now we're looking at what is the low poly body of my creature. The first thing that we want to do is we're going to need to take care of some housekeeping here. The first thing we'll do is go to our object mode.
