Overview of Blender unwrapping basics: Part 2

- All right, now that we have unwrapped, say, the body, or one object, it really doesn't matter what object it was that you unwrapped, we have to deal with a couple things before moving on to another object. So the first thing is let's take a look at how we unwrapped these. Now, big, flat areas, say, like his shoulders here, kind of like he's wearing a shawl, you know, that whole piece there, that's pretty easy to understand how it's going to unwrap. It's like a big piece of paper or a blueprint that's wrapped around his body, and it would go right to those dark orange lines that we put in there, so we decide where those lines are. That's easy, but when we get into the cylindrical pieces, arms, legs, hoofs, in my case, what will be fingers when we get to them, horns, those types of areas need a seam to run through them, kind of like a zipper.
