Reducing the polygon levels

- So now that we've added details in the Sculpt mode to our character, and we've duplicated it, we need to reduce the poly count in the low-poly version to something reasonable, and then we'll keep the high-poly version so that eventually we can take the details off that high-poly version and convert it to the low-poly. So in this video, we're going to be creating that low-poly version that eventually is going to be our final model. So here is my minotaur character, and I've selected all the objects, hit Shift-D, and made a copy of them over here. I've gone ahead in the low-poly body version here and what I'll do is hide this version, so I'm going to hide the high-polys at this point, so we can see them, is I've gone ahead and reduced the detail in the body, and then I'm going to show you how to reduce the detail in any of the body parts here in the head and the hands. But you can see here in the body, we have much less detail, or fewer polygons, than we had in that high-poly version.…
