Cisco AnyConnect Network Visibility Module (NVM)
- Because users are more commonly working from environments outside of the local business network, we need a way to have visibility into what's going on with these remote devices. With users who are leveraging Cisco AnyConnect to provide a secure VPN tunnel back to the enterprise network, we can do that easily with the Cisco AnyConnect Network Visibility Module, or NVM as a solution to this problem. NVM will collect flow information from an end point anytime the AnyConnect VPN is connected back to our trusted network. And that allows us to maintain visibility and to these remote devices. We're going to examine enabling this Network Visibility Module from Cisco ISE. Although this profile for NVM can also be pushed from a Cisco ASA as well. In order to provision Cisco ISE for AnyConnect web deployment, we first go under our main Policy tab from the dashboard and under Policy Elements, we want to choose the Results option.
