- [Narrator] We've looked at destination lists during policy creation within the Cisco Umbrella. So let's talk about that just a bit more in depth here. Destination lists allow us to customize our block policy in more flexible ways. We can block or allow any domain specifically and then apply these destination lists to our policies. They also support wild card usage. And in fact, this is implied for sub domains. We'll talk about that in just a moment, but that essentially means that if you block the domain example.com, for instance, any sub domains are also going to be implicitly blocked, such as mail.example.com. A few things we want to take into consideration here, first is the fact that any allow destination lists that we have, those are going to take precedence over block destination lists.
