Data loss prevention (DLP)
- [Instructor] Let's look at configuring data loss prevention or DLP on the Cisco ESA. This is going to involve several steps. First, we'll need to enable DLP globally from the Cisco ESA. So let's do that. Let's go to the security services tab along the top and about halfway down, we're going to see data loss prevention. If we click that, you'll see that by default, this is disabled. So let's click our enable button on the right to make that available. And once we do that, we now see that globally, DLP is enabled. We can see that you have the ability to choose the DLP wizard to apply some pre-configured policies to outgoing mail if we choose to do that, And we can also enable automatic updates as well. Let's click on the submit button here to accept these global settings as they are. Once we do that, we see our success message letting us know that we have DLP policies now available on our plans.
