- [Instructor] Alright, now it's time to set up our projection camera and render these mountains as separate layers, so we can start painting on top of them. Now the fundamentals of matte painting is to get away with as much as possible in one frame, so ideally you want to find the frame that will cover all of the geometry and all of the camera move in one. And what I mean by that is say that you were to pick a position throughout the move of this camera, and find one that will be able to see all of the environment during the camera move. So in order to do that, you have to assess the camera quite closely. The best thing to do is to turn off the HUD and to zoom in on the camera as much as possible. Now you see at the beginning of the camera, we begin by seeing some of these mountains here on the left side. However, we don't see all of the mountains on the right side. Once we get to the end of the camera move, we fully see the mountains on the right side, and we don't see the ones on…
