Renaming geometry
- [Teacher] So now that we've split our geometry into multiple sub tools, we need to rename them all because we're going to be rendering and exporting these maps later. And we are going to have quite a few, so we do need to keep them neat and tidy. In order to do that, you can click on the layer that you want to rename, and click Rename, and call it something that makes sense to you. Foregeround ground makes sense to me. The reason being is because it's the closest to the camera, therefore I call it the foreground. See if you're having a difficult time trying to figure out what layer is where and what you should call what layer, the best thing to do is to select the layer, click on this Eye tool, which will get rid of all the other layers, and then with your cursor in the Viewport press F. This will frame that particular layer and allow you to view it a little closer. Then you can click the Eye tool back on, and see where it falls in the grand scheme of things. In the grand scheme of…
