Leverage flip charts

- Flip charts are valuable tools for engagement because they can be placed throughout a room to encourage sharing of ideas, thinking out loud, and visualization of concepts. They provide more portability than a blackboard or a whiteboard, and can be covered by another piece of flip chart paper for a big reveal if you've prepared some flip chart pages in advance. One method for using flip charts is to write four or more related questions on a number of flip charts, and place them around the room. The learners are divided into groups, and each group is given a different colored marker, then each group is assigned to start at a particular flip chart. They then have three to five minutes to write an answer or response on the flip chart. Then the groups rotate and add additional information or ideas to the next flip chart they encounter on the rotation.
