- [Voiceover] So here on this next image for our summer palette, you can really see how phthalo blue is gonna be so handy because it's turquoise intensity. And I want to introduce you to the other phthalos in the green family of pigments. So our base pigments will be phthalo blue with a green shade. Phthalo green with a blue shade, and the phthalo green with the yellow shade. We'll also be using ultramarine blue, cadmium yellow light, permanent alizarin crimson, burnt umber, and titanium white. So I start with the phthalo blue green shade and some titanium white. And just a little bit of that together matches really quickly these intense blue colors in the sky. And then by adding a bit more of the blue, you'll easily be able to mix these lovely intense blues on the mountain tops. Phthalo pigments also come in greens. So you can have a phthalo green with the yellow shade, and a phthalo green with the blue shade. So here you can see just a couple of different examples of brands of…
