- [Instructor] There's a new Boris continuum effect that has its own built-in 3D system and that's the reflection effect. Can you use that to make a fake reflection. For example, with this shot, we can make a look like there's water here on the ground that's reflecting the building and the logo. Let's give it a try this project has three copies of the building layer. With a top layer selected, I'll draw a mask that separates out the part of the frame that we do not want to have affected by the reflection effect. I'll grab the pen tool, draw a mask that separates out the pavement. I'll do it fairly quickly but you can spend more time. I'll go far to the right come back and close the mask. I'll solo that layer you can see the pavement is separated. What I want here though, is to save the building and the sky so it's not affected by the effect.
