- [Instructor] Another interesting category of Boris Continuum FX is image restoration. And where as some of these effects are designed to mitigate artifacts created by cameras, some are designed to simply improve the aesthetic quality of your subject. For example, you can make your model even more beautiful or handsome. Let's start there. I'll go to image restoration then we'll start with Beauty Studio. Beauty Studio uses Frequency Separation to add blur based on the size of detail in the layer. This is often used to blur fine detail on the face such as pores, while leaving other edges sharp. You can see already that there is some smoothing. Let's zoom in and see how that's working. Particular, let's pay attention to the forehead. You can control the smoothing through the smoothing section. And you can see that the effect separates out smallest, small, medium, and large details. Let's turn smallest and small down to zero…
