Introduction to Boris keyers

- [Instructor] Now it's time to discuss chroma keyers, or chroma key effects, and chroma keyers are designed to target a key color such as the green of this green screen, and convert it to transparent alpha in that area. Boris Continuum includes a number of chroma keyers, plus effects designed to adjust the resulting alpha matte. Let's try several of those. I'm on project 4_1 now. I'll select my top layer, which has a green screen, and go to Effect. These effects are in the Key & Blend menu, and I'll start with Chroma Key, a simple keyer. Like many keyers you start by selecting the key color, and you say eyedropper beside Color to select the green. And as soon as I do that, that green is targeted for transparency, and I can see the lower layer. It's never quite perfect at the start, but the keyers always have properties you can adjust, It would be good to look at our alpha channel to see how it's working. Now, you can…
