- [Nigel] Hi, I'm Nigel French. Welcome to "Type Tips." This week, I am in Fresco on the iPad and I want to show you how we can create a rain-damaged look. Now, Fresco is an application that has been acclaimed as a fantastic watercolor painting application and it really is so much fun, but it also has a type tool. It's a very basic type tool, but it's a start and we can combine type with watercolor brushes. So, what I have here is on a layer of white we have a layer of type. Now, in order for me to affect the type the way I need to, I am going to need to convert it to a pixel layer. So, to keep this existing layer as backup, I will duplicate that, then we'll come and hide the original and on the duplicate copy, I will convert it to a pixel layer. So now I can manipulate these pixels, and I'm going to do so using this second brush, the watercolor brush. I'll start out with Watercolor, Wet Spatter. I'll come down to my…
