- [Instructor] Hi, Nigel French here. Welcome to Type Tips. This week some useful information about aligning text especially very large text and sizing text in Adobe Illustrator. I have some guides that mark the center point of my art board. Command or Ctrl + ; will turn them on. And I would like to center to the type on the art board. So I will come to my alignment icons, and we will align horizontal center and align vertical center. And we see that that is way off. So if I come and just choose my rectangle tool, draw myself a rectangle right there we'll give it a different color. This rectangle, if I duplicate it, should be exactly the same size as this rectangle. And I'll put one on the right-hand side. These two rectangles should be exactly the same size as well.
