Adapting MIDI record modes

- [Narrator] Continuing from where we left off let's now look at adapting the Midi recording mode that we used previously. If I come down to the bottom left of our screen again we see that we recently used the Midi recording modes of merge and mix. We previously heard this means any existing Midi events will get new or over dubbed notes added or merged with the original notes when repeatedly cycling around and recording to an event. Let's change this mode by clicking the arrow for merge to reveal the Midi recording modes panel again. In the top section linear and cycled Midi recording, I'll change the radio button option from merge that merges recorded data into existing parts to replace, that will create new parts whilst removing any existing parts in the record range. Bear in mind too that the option below in the cycled Midi recording only area is set to mix. That will ensure all notes are recording into the same part.…
