- [Narrator] Earlier in this course, I glanced at built in hue based effects that we can use on every individual track in our projects. The effects are found in what is known as the strip. These are separate effects to those we just added as inserts and send effects. We can access the strip in a few different ways. Earlier in this course, we saw how to do it one way. But here's the most immediate way. Come down to the strip panel to reveal these six options. You could use as many of these as you like for each track. Or none at all. There is enough to load up with the top option, gate. Simply click the drop arrow there, and choose noise gate. To show it's now loaded, we see it lights up in lime green. We can leave it set at its default setting, or click here to access presets. I'll choose clean lead vox, seeing as this is a vocal track. Double click the entry to confirm and load it up.
