- [Instructor] When you are starting out with Cubase, it can be quite daunting when you see the user interface for the first time. This essentials course has been purposely designed so that you'll learn all the basic skills required to begin your musical journey with the program. With that in mind, the course purposely doesn't walk you through a complete project creation from start to finish, because as you'll see during the the early tutorials here, there are many routes to creating a project, and many different types of project. Therefore I've made a Cubase Pro 10 project available to you, so that you have a real working project to practice the essential techniques picked up during this course. With it you can learn and develop your beginner skills as you get more comfortable with the program. Owing to this approach, the only prerequisite required is a copy of Cubase Pro 10, of which a demo is available from the Steinberg website, so that you can watch and follow the techniques shown during this Essentials: The Basics course.
