- [Announcer] Okay, once again, let's continue our introductory look at some of the MIDI function options available to us. With the MIDI drum event selected, we see the drum grid open in the lower zone panel editor. By the way, if you want to zoom in to this panel, use the skinny sliders at the right here. Click and drag to vertically zoom in or out. Notice there is the option to zoom in or out horizontally with the associated slider, too. When looking at the drum editor, we see diamonds representing the individual drum hits. This is fine, but we don't actually see note lengths represented, or small horizontal blocks like the other editors show us. For example, if I choose open key editor from the MIDI menu option, we see those same notes represented like this. And if I zoom in, we see the notes don't fall exactly on these sixteenth note grid points. Again, that's fine. It makes the drum performance more natural sounding.…
