- Let's follow up from the previous tutorials where we looked at the Cubase Zone areas that provide visual functionality, specific to certain tasks. Here, we'll look at the Lower Zone in a little bit more detail. And in particular at the MixConsole tab. The Lower Zone features four tab panels that responds to what we choose in the main project area above. With that in mind, and remembering each track in the Project Panel takes on an icon to indicate the type of track that it is. And here we see the audio icon on this vocal track and a further five audio tracks contained within this folder track. Then here is an example of a midi track. And below that, a sampler track. At present, whenever I select any track, irrespective of track type, the main view doesn't adapt. However, by coming to the top right and activating the middle of these three Zone buttons, we see the Lower Zone area claim part of the user interface at the foot of our screen.
