MIDI editor preferences

- [Instructor] I now want to look at some of the preference settings that we can make when we want to get Cubase to respond how we want it to in terms of MIDI editing. To get to preferences on Windows, go to edit and roll down to the bottom option labeled preferences. I bet you would've guessed that. This size-adjustable window now opens into view. I'll not look at all the settings here of course, there are too many. Instead I'll indicate some of the options that make working with MIDI better for us. You'll see at the left-hand side, we have a number of categories with subcategories indented inside. Now, as I mentioned before, I want to start off by looking at editors. Don't be confused by that top category labeled as editing even though it has a subcategory called MIDI indented inside of it. Instead, come down to the category below, labeled as editors.
