- [Instructor] In the Cubase Pro 10 essentials course, I explained how to establish audio connections, so that Cubase links to your soundcard and understands the input and output routing it provides. Here with this project, I started it originally a few years ago on a different PC. As a consequence, the inputs and output routing connections because the previous PC used a different sound card and hardware breakout box. I've got the inputs and output channels here, at the left of the mix console field of view. Despite their textual indication, they're not properly connected to this laptop. So let's establish the correct connection. There is a dedicated menu option that allows for that. We could use the shortcut F4, or come up to studio and choose audio connections from the top there.
