- I'll continue here once again by looking at a very useful function that allows us to move back to edit positions more than a simple one-click undo away. Remember, we can easily step back in our edit history by using the undo option found under the edit menu. We've done that a few times during this course. And the shortcut for it is, ctrl + Z. Here I'll show you a better method that allows us to jump back in time to a previous edit point. And not necessarily one step at a time. Here's that heavily edited vocal file again with it's many adapted volume changes. Created by me clicking and creating new volume notes. That light gray thin line indicates the change in volume playback level as the playhead progresses over the events length. To undo those edit points can be done as said and previously illustrated by using the edit, undo menu option. But I'll show you the better method I just alluded to. First though, I'll contract the track height to make more room here at the screen…
