- [Instructor] Progressing again, let's look at the partner to insert effects, send effects. It's important to understand the actual effects themselves. FabFilter reverb or Steinberg Compressor or whatever, these plug-ins can be used as either insert or send effects, the difference between send and insert effects is not the effect itself. The difference is solely how we utilize them. So, let's remove the REVelation reverb plug-in from the Insert slot here, as you can see it's not activated at the moment, I can activate it by clicking there. However, I don't want to include it at all as an insert effect here because I'm going to use the same plug-in, but as a send effect. So you can see the subtle difference in the way that we adapt the settings. Yes, I could deactivate it again as an insert effect by clicking the same button and that would deactivate this single plug-in. Alternatively, I can deactivate it by clicking this…
