Using fades

- [Instructor] I temporarily want to go a little off-track for this movie, as I look a little further at using fades with our audio events. When we have an audio event recorded, we might want it to play back with a gradual fade-in or a gradual fade-out. Or, to take this a stage further, we might wish to merge the end of one event with the start of another, or even copied event. That can be easily accomplished, of course, by placing the events to be merged on different tracks, and then positioning them accordingly. So, as one event fades out, a second event fades in. That works well enough, but there is a quicker method, and it's a method that only requires one track. We'll get to that later. Here, let's start by looking at this sound effects audio track of waves lapping against the shoreline.
