Glue and grid
- Moving forward again. Let's continue our look at some of the other tools now. In particular, we'll look at the glue tool later, once we've understood this snap grid function. I'll start off by choosing the beats track. Now I'm pinching out to zoom in closer to it so that we can see more of the beats event. I can also use the zoom option below, tapping to make it smaller and larger to suit. As we already know, we can cut up individual events by using the split tool. I'll do that. I'll split this event at bar three and also at bar four. Consequently, we now see those three individual events. I'll undo that by long holding the undo button and going back there. Now to make things a little easier to see, I'll create a new midi track and delete the audio tracks. Bare in mind though that removing the audio tracks from the timeline does not delete them. We still have them in our media bay, ready to reincorporate at any time.…
