Using the mixer
- Once we have all of our tracks in place in a project, whether they are audio or media-driven tracks or a mixture of both, we will need to balance the relative volume levels between them all. And as you know, this is known as mixing. We can adapt the volume levels of every track individually from the project view here by using their channel faders. However, it's often better to have a horizontal view of all the track faders for ease of mixing. Clearly Q base's provides a functional mixer for this. So we're going to look at using the mixer here. I've already set up some extra groups and I've done this to streamline the mixing process. I've got a drum group, that's been color coded accordingly, that houses the beat, the drums, and the HiHats.
