Setting up grid options

- [Voiceover] I'm going to keep using the project file that we were working on in the previous chapter here. If you're just starting up, or haven't been working along with me, there is an alternate start project file that will get you up to this point so that your project looks just like mine. Let's take a look at some of the tools you can use to edit your project. We'll start by talking about the grid and snapping settings. The grid lines are used to help you line up media items along the beats of the timeline. The snapping settings are used to determine how close to those lines your media items have to be before they'll start snapping to the points. They also determine what types of items in your project will snap to what or whether or not your items will snap at all. Remember the grid and snapping are both easily accessible via the toolbar.
