- So Rich, one of the awesome things about these systems, is sort of the cold shoes here at the top. Now, just to be clear, these are cold, not hot, meaning that they don't pass any electronic data, provide power, or do anything like that. In my experience they're pretty sturdy, but just be careful whey you're putting accessories up here, because they are just plastic, and if you kind of pull too hard, or twist the wrong way, you can kind of break these plastic tabs.
