Color filters

- Sometimes filters are going to introduce a tint, or maybe a gel to the overall filter, and the goal here is to make corrective action. So for example, when we were shooting out in the sand, I used this amber filter, and you're the colorist, what do you think it did? - I think it warmed things up, gave it a little bit more of a natural look to it. Now, the thing with colored filters is that they can kind of be used for stylistic purposes, right? You sort of warm up the image, that kind of thing. It's often used in combination with sort of your on camera functionality. It used to be, in the original use of these cameras, when we were dealing with kind of one film stock and wanted to sort of manipulate its inherent properties. Now you can do a lot of this stuff, of course, on the camera, in terms of white balance and all that kind of jazz, but this is a nice option.
