- Rob for me, good menu design is important. Because it makes a camera easy to use. For my personal beliefs, as much as I love GoPro cameras, I find their menus to be some of the worst out there, with everything buried in lots of places. And it, Blackmagic on the other hand seems to be almost Apple-esque in their elegance, and minimalist. - Very much so. I mean, their sort of approach on menus is sort of like, we're going to set most of these things, and we'll give you the options for the things that you might want to change. At the expense of that OCD level control that a lot of camera operators might want. And I agree with you, they're very simple menu systems. But, if you think about where these cameras are positioned in the users and the broad swathe of people that they want to attract to the cameras, over complexity of the menu system is something that drives a lot of people crazy.
