- Now Rich, the problem I find myself in all the time is that I'm using a fast lens. Why do I use fast lenses? - 'Cause he likes to spend money. - That's true but I also like the shallow depth of field that I get with a fast lens. And when you're outside in an environment like you were out in Vegas, out in the desert, obviously there's a lot of bright sunshine and you want to shoot wide open but you only can get your ISO so low. You can only adjust your aperture, well really you want it wide so you're not going to adjust your aperture. What do you do in a situation like that? - Well, it gets tough. I mean remember with the exposure triangle, in order to get a balanced exposure you refine things. It's the ISO which is the sensitivity. You knock that sensor down so it's really not sensitive. - Right. - Because remember shutter speed is pretty much locked when shooting video otherwise you're going to get strobing and weird streaking.
