Playing a click track in the field

Playing a click track in the field
Robbie Carman: So when you go into the field to record a music video, you're going to want to be able to set up a system that can play back your click track. And, in this case, Jason's going to record in just a second. But what I've done is I've taken my iPad and an audio out from my iPad to a set of portable speakers. And in just a moment, when we begin play back, the click track will begin and then Jason can lip-sync to that click track. Now how you do this is really up to you. You could use your computer. You could use an iPad. You could use any other audio device that's going to be loud enough to play back that click track so everybody on set can hear, and your artist can hear it as well for the purposes of lip syncing.
