- While these may look a little strange, this is the secret to some cool pattern backdrops. What do you got there? - Yeah, I got one that looks like a little bit of a window frame. And this is made by Rosco, a common manufacturer of these types of products. This is a little metal gobo that can just fit into a frame just like this. We can just drop that guy right in to this holder and then place this directly in front of a light. The beauty about this is that it's really robust. It's really nice and secure. It gives you more professional mounting options that gaffers and DPS and those kind of people will be used to.
