When to use and not use headphones
- Now Cheryl, I think it's a temptation when you own a nice set of headphones to kind of just want to use them all the time, you know what I'm saying? - Right, absolutely. - And that's really not the case. There are situations when headphones are sort of apropos. You know, situations in the field and that kind of stuff. But there are situations when they're not. Now, in your opinion, when do I want to use headphones. - Well, when you're in the field, and you must wear headphones at all times, so that you can hear what the microphones what's going to disc. - Right. - And different sound location people will use different types of headphones by their tastes. There's really no golden rule. - Well, I mean, I think the general rule of thumb there is the reason that they use headphones is to be isolated from the rest of the set and the rest of the noise that's going on.
