- [Instructor] Now that we've looked at some of the ways that data science can be used in government and political science, I want to give you a few suggestions for ways that you can continue to learn more and actually do to more in this field. The first one, is I want to encourage you to explore some analytical projects, and some of these I've mentioned already. Number one is USAFacts.org. This is a site put together that takes information about spending in the United States, and makes it very easy to tell from multiple sources, how money is being used, a basic element of accountability in government. Another one is MeasuresForJustice.org, a major project about criminal justice system and potentially ways of assessing racial and other forms of bias. And then as an example of a dashboard for civic analytics, GeoHub.LAcity.org is a great way of seeing how Los Angeles has made their information accessible to citizens both in the city and around the world.
