- [Instructor] Online education's a wonderful thing, but there's the question about making online work, how can you make it productive? Well, people love online education. I mean, it's flexible, it's accessible, it's great, but people who sign up for online courses often have a hard time feeling engaged and have a very high probability of dropping out of a course or falling asleep on their computer. This is true for online university courses where people pay tuition, they have a strict schedule, and they're getting a grade, but it's even more of a challenge for non-credit bearing online learning. But as I've mentioned before, people who teach online can learn a lot from people in online commerce and social media.
