Final project - A vast landscape

(gentle string music) - [Voiceover] For our final lesson, I wanted to look for a really vast view that had hills and mountains in it, rather than just focusing on the details. But I still wanted it to have the same principles that we've been looking at throughout the course. So I've come to the Peak District in Derbyshire, and it's a great way to recap through the principles we've learned so far. So I drove by this view and I really loved how the water was making this lovely "S" shape throughout the hills. And there's this really nice slope to the land that gave me some interest, and the farm building that's on the right-hand side just helps to balance the composition. So I began to refine my viewpoint by frame the view through a viewfinder. I really wanted to include the water going through the hills and the house in the landscape, so for that, I had to use a landscape orientation.
