- Although we're going to be looking at each principle independently, they all have a really close relationship with each other. And most of the time they sit hand in hand and crossover and you can't alter one without it influencing another or several of them. But the key thing to remember, to achieve any of these principles successfully, is for you to move your viewing position. You'll hear that crop up time and time again. For example, we're first going to tackle Proportion & Scale. But to find these elements in a scene you're going to have to change your viewpoint several times, which in turn will give you a different composition each time you move. What we're going to do in this lesson is look at photographs I've taken and explain why I've changed the position and what would give a better idea of Proportion & Scale within the viewpoint.
