- Well, we've reached the end of our course and covered a lot of material. I hope you're beginning to see just how powerful and how pleasurable design sketching can be. Of course, getting good, or even comfortable, with anything requires practice, so I strongly encourage you to sketch every day and to push yourself to internalize the techniques covered in this course. One way to do that is to observe a product you like and sketch a quick three view orthographic. When I say quick, I mean quick, try to do it in a matter of a minute or two. Then, go away from the product so all you have is your sketch, and then try to recreate it in perspective without any other references. This can help you to become more economical and efficient in how you view objects, but also more observant of the world around you. You'll know right away when you go to sketch in perspective whether you have the information you need. And if you don't, the next time you do the exercise you'll hopefully pay closer…
