- [Instructor] In this movie we'll see how to add text frames to your layouts in Affinity Publisher. Before we start let's note that there are three kinds of text in Affinity Publisher, there's artistic text, which you might use for just a few words where you wanted to apply some kind of artistic effect. And to create that you use the Artistic Text Tool. There's also text on a path where a line of text can follow a vector path, so you can have circular text, wavy text, and so on. And there's frame text where the text sits inside a text frame. And this is what you would use when you have one or more paragraphs of text that should appear in columns in your layout. And that's what we'll see in this movie. To create a text frame you use the Frame Text Tool, that's the one with the T icon in the Tools panel.
