- [Instructor] Having determined the page size and the margin sizes, our next step is to create the folios, by which I mean the page number and the header. So because we want this information on all of our document pages, or at least most of our document pages, I'm going to create this on the Master Page spread. Double-click on A-master. Next, because I want to draw my header in a text frame that is the exact width of my type area, I'll first come to the Layout menu and choose Create Guides. I have one row, one column. Fit the guides to the margins, and you'll see that's now put guides around my type area. I'll press T to access my Type tool and create a text frame that runs from one guide to the next. I'll press Command or Control + 2 and then Option or Alt to just pan my page to the left. Now, I want to enter an automatic page number, so I'll come to the Type menu, Insert Special Character, Markers, Current Page Number. That's going to register as an A because we are on the A-Master…
