- [Instructor] Hi, I'm Nigel French, welcome to Type Tips. This week I have another InDesign tip for you, and I want to show you how we can create this look, where we have type either side of a header. And one way to do this, the obvious way to do this, would be to combine a rule above and a rule below. And the rule below, which, despite its name, sits on top of the rule above in the stacking order, would block out the rule. So the problem with that is that we would have a white box around the type, which would show up if the type were on anything but a white background. So we need a different solution, and this is what I've come up with. I'm going to start here with the type. And the first thing I want to do is change the alignment of the type to justify all lines.
