Apply styles to objects

- [Instructor] Let's take a look at how to format objects with styles in Affinity Publisher. I'll open the styles panel from the view menu. And by default, you'll see a category of sample styles here. I'll select one of the stars on the page and click a few of the styles to try them out. Styles include fill and stroke colors as well as effects. So if I right-click on this star and choose layer effects I can see and modify the effects that have been applied with the style and I can turn off each one. So I'll turn off inner shadow, 3D effect, and gradient overlay. And we just get the fill and stroke that are applied with the style. In the color panel, I can see it's this green color and it has 100% noise, which I can see by clicking the button to toggle between opacity and noise. Now let's add a custom category of styles by going to the panel menu and choosing add styles category. I'll rename it. I'll just call it my styles.…
