Create and apply color swatches

- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll see how to create and apply color swatches in Affinity Publisher. By default, the Swatches Panel is grouped with the Color panel, and they share some of the same controls for fill and stroke colors, sampling colors, and applying colors. The Swatches panel has the Opacity slider at the top, whereas it's at the bottom of the Color panel. And notice that, unlike the color panel, there's no place to select a color mode in the Swatches panel. So, the swatches that appear here don't belong to a particular color mode. The next important thing to know about the Swatches panel is that it can displace swatches in several different palettes. For example, right now, I'm looking at a default palette of Grays ranging from black to white. I can pick a different palette from the pop-up light colors.
