- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll see how master pages work in Affinity Publisher. Just like text styles allow you to apply formatting to text in your document, master pages allow you to apply formatting to pages, so you can create a design once and apply it to as many pages as you like. That way, you can lay out pages very quickly and easily. And even better, you can update a page design just once, and have your changes appear instantly throughout the document. So master pages are absolutely essential when you're working on long documents. To get started here, I'll go to the pages panel, and at the top is where I can work with my master pages. Right now, there's just one master page called Master A, which is the default first master page you'll see in publisher documents.
